Each unit is a cozy mountain \'home\' with a rustic charm indigenous of the area. On-site amenities include a sauna, tennis courts, children\'s fishing pond, hiking, and cross-country skiing. You may use a nearby healthclub\'s pool and facilities for a per-visit fee. Although there are no planned activities on site, there are several area activities. The Whitefish Mountain Ski area with more than 3,000 skiable acres, is only 2.2 miles away. A car is recommended to fully enjoy your vacation. All condominiums at Ptarmigan Village at Whitefish have cable television and eithera woodstove or woodburning fireplace. Studio units with a loft OCC: Max 5/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 double or 1 queen bed, and a sleep sofa. 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 with Loft and Max 6/Pri 4 have 2 baths, and either a double bed or queen bed, 2 twin beds or bunk beds and a sleep sofa. 2 BR Loft units OCC: Max 8/Pri 6 have either 1.5 or 2 baths, 2 queen or 2 doublebeds, 2 twin beds or a double bed and a sleep sofa. 3BR units OCC: Max 8/Pri 6 have 2 baths, 2 queen or 2 double beds, 2 sets of bunk beds, and a sleep sofa. No pets are allowed. To fully enjoy your vacation, having a car is necessary. A US$5.00 key deposit and a credit card imprint as a security deposit are requiredat check-in. Mid-week towel services is provided for US$15.00. Resort is 3400 ft in elevation. There are stairs in all units. The resort is 52 acres and it is a short drive from many of the units to the the tennis courts and other amenities.
